A Bigfoot Database

I haven't really delved into my sources of inspiration yet on this new site and now seems like a good time. If you don't already know, I'm very interested in anomolous phenomena. The strange and unusual always gets me thinking and feeling creative. I first shared this little snippet on my old site on November 2nd, 2010. I hope you enjoy it!

If you enjoy things that are organized and things that are weird I think you'll enjoy the website of the BFRO.  That's the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.  They have articles, images, information on joining the organization, and best of all: there is a database of sightings.  You can choose your state -or province- and see a listing of reports by location and date.  The states are further divided by county so you can really get a picture of what's gone on (or hasn't) in your area.  There are also less comprehensive listings for countries outside of North America.

I love seeing stuff like this collected altogether in one place.  It doesn't matter if you believe every word of it or think that bigfoot is a hallucination, there is something appealing about such a comprehensive collection of liminal information.

Oh yeah, there's also a free download of sighting locations for GPS units in case you want to go looking.
